Are there any rules or restrictions for costumes at Chuck E. Cheese?

We LOVE Halloween just as much as you do, but in order to keep Chuck E. Cheese safe and family-friendly, we do have a few restrictions:

  • To keep the experience magical for all guests, costumes that directly replicate or impersonate characters from our Fun Centers, including Chuck E. Cheese and members of his band (past or present), may not be worn
  • When dressing like your favorite character outside of those in Munch’s Make Believe Band (past or present), you cannot pose for pictures, address other guests outside of your group, or sign autographs for other Guests
  • Costume masks are not permitted for guests over 14 years of age… Guests 13 years of age and younger may wear masks. However, masks should always provide unobstructed peripheral vision, with openings that allow the eyes to be fully visible
  • Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent, and may not include any props or accessories that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon
  • Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest, they also may not reach or drag on the ground. (for example, full-length Princess dresses)… Capes are permitted, but they must not extend below the waist
  • Note: We reserve the right to deny admission to Chuck E. Cheese, or the Trampoline Zone / Ninja Run attraction (or may ask you to remove certain elements of your costume) to do so, should we deem it hazardous or inappropriate
