Back-to-School Shopping in the Area

There are the big box stores, of course, but you can also support locally-owned businesses when doing your back-to-school shopping! Here are some of our favorite places for shopping for school supplies and clothes in the area that are locally owned, support local organizations, or are resale shops to help with landfill waste:

  • Little Red Ribbon Roselle, IL: A local boutique offering gifts for all occasions including some clothing.
  • Salvation Army Roselle, IL: Resale shop with discounted clothing options supporting an organization servicing the homeless population. 
  • Savers Thrift Store Hoffman Estates, IL: Great for shopping on a budget or finding a vintage look. Supports the Epilepsy foundation.
  • Wings Resale Shops Arlington Heights & Schaumburg: Clothing for children and adults. Supports services for families fleeing domestic violence.
