It was inevitable that back-to-school clothes shopping was going to have to happen despite my many attempts to deny it over and over and over again. It’s not that my girls don’t like to shop for clothes, it’s that they love to shop for clothes a little too much.
However, now they have very strong opinions on their style and choices. Gone are the days of me picking things up that I was certain they would love and just go on with our summer. Those days are long gone.

Dare I say it, we all even enjoy our shopping trips to Evsie, especially on a Saturday when they are hosting one of their fun special events. The minute you walk into an Evsie store, you know you have come to the right place. The displays are always so on point with the current trends and the associates are just steps away for helping you and your tween pair the perfect outfit and accessories without being pushy.

One Saturday our Evsie store was hosting a First Day of School “TEE” Party. How perfect was that?! So, off we went to make some awesome first day of school tees. And as you can see, they turned out great! Plus, our store really pulled out all of the stops with snacks and drinks.
They obviously know that keeping tweens fed and hydrated really helps keep everyone (the parents AND the kids) happy while shopping. Fun Fact: The back of the tees is for the last day of school to be filled in next year. According to tween daughter #1 - that’s bussin!

Once the “tee” party was over, we moved on to picking out and trying on clothes. To say Evsie has all the bases covered is an understatement. From cute and comfy denims to classic graphic tees, tops, and sweaters to backpacks and accessories, they have it ALL (even shoes) in styles for every tween fashionista.
Evsie truly is a one-stop-shop for this momma! My sporty one found hip denim overalls and jeans, along with athletic wear that works for her many sports practices or just chilling on the weekend. The girly girl found cute skirts, tops, and fun bottoms for school and hanging out with her friends.

After picking out the clothes, we finished up our trip with picking out the perfect accessories. They both found cute jewelry, barrettes, and even pencil cases to use at school this year.
And have I mentioned the deals? Evsie always has great deals going on that make it not only easy on my nerves to shop, but easy on my wallet as well. That’s a win-win in my book. We all left happy with a big part of our back to school list completed.

Also…you’re going to want to keep an eye out for our August Evsie adventure. The girls have been invited to walk the Evsie runway. I’m trying very hard to keep it all from going to their heads, but they can’t help it if they own their smarts and beauty. And as a mom who wants to encourage them to express their emerging voices as smart, strong, confident women, I’m rolling with it.
