With Thanksviging approaching, we all want for our kids to teach them that they should be thankfull for everything they have and, also to show them how to express their gratudine, by helping others in varies ways.
Schaumburg Macaroni Kid would like to challange your kids into writting or creating cool works of art! Purpose? Winning some great surprises. Its all up to how many kids will participate, so we want to hear them how they'll be celebrating!
Submit their "thankful" story, or their illustration(s) and/or photos, any time between now and November 20th, and you might see their story and artwork published on our website & weekly newsletter! All the participants will enter into a Voting contest and by Dec 2nd we will announce the winners.
We will have 3 age categories : 2-5 yrs old; 6-8 yrs old & 9-12 yrs old .
The top authors will each receive a Gift Card, courtesy of Andigo Credit Union!

- If I could invite anyone to Thanksgiving dinner, I would invite... and here's why...
You can use any of our writing prompts, or come up with your own idea! Just remember the theme....THANKSGIVING!
Note to Parents - to submit stories and artwork, simply take a picture of your child's writing and artwork and email it to marcelan@macaronikid.com with the subject line "Writing Contest," until Nov. 20th, 2019 end of the day. Photos of handwritten stories are welcome, or they may be typed in the body of the email. For photos of writing or artwork, please lay work flat on a table in good light and send us your sharpest pics. Be sure to include the child's full name (or first name, last initial if you prefer privacy) and age/grade. If you would like to include a picture of your child and/or a little blurb about your child, we'll publish that too! By emailing your child's writing, artwork, name, photo, or any other details, you are giving Macaroni Kid Schaumburg permission to publish and share those things in our newsletter and social media channels. NOT ALL STORIES WILL BE PUBLISHED.ļ»æ
