Now that the nice and warm sunny days left "the building", we need to plan for new locations, where we can keep our little ones entertained! For this reason, I have come up with a few suggestions of 4 indoor places in Schaumburg area.
Cost: 1+ years: $ 10 , Tots (0-12mo): $5
Hours: M - F: 9am-5pm; Sa - Su: 9am-12pm
Why my kids like it: The designated play rooms for the Little princesses, Kitchen with Grocery Store, Train station are a hit. The kids are also enjoying the disco room, dancing and laughing, and going down the slide on the playground.
Why I like it: I often meet with my girlfriends, enjoying a cup of coffee (which is complementary from the "house"), while our kids are playing. And if you will mention them Macaroni Kid, you will be getting a 20% discount. :-)
Cost: Child over 12 months - $10.00, - His/her siblings over 12 months of age - $8.50, - Child up to 12 months - $5.50
Hours: Daily 9am-7:30pm
Why my kids like it: My little one likes playing with toys, and here she has a great selection of toys, like: dollhouse, play kitchen, riding toys, legos, books, and the wonderful climbing area with slides and ball pit.
Why I like it: The great selection of coffee and food, mostly I enjoy the Belgian waffles with ice cream. If I usually have some work to do, I can always bring my laptop and work, while looking after my girl.
Cost: Mo - Th: $12; Fr - Su: $15
Hours: Mo - Sa: 10am - 9pm; Su - 11am-6pm
Tuesday Special: $5 one hour play
Why my kids like it: My little one really burns some energy in here, with so many things to do we can hardly keep up with her. From spinning palms, to the larger bouncer with the climbing and sliding wall, going with the merry-go-round carousels and finally with the jungle maze.
Why I like it: Shopping and play, this is the best recipe when you have kids and you need to also do some shopping. We usually chose this location whenever we go to the Mall; which means everybody is enjoying their time, me shopping, hubby watching the kids, along with his phone and the kids, having fun!
Jumps n' Jiggles Indoor Playground & Pavilion Carousel, Elk Grove
Cost: 1+ years : $4.00 Resident Child / $5.00 Nonresident Child
Tots (0-12 mo) Free
Hours: Mon - Fri 10am-2pm
Why my kids like it: The Pavilion Carousel is the greatest attraction and they can spend hours just going "round and round", since the rides are unlimited. The play area is pretty big, and it includes a maze of tunnels, a spiral slide and a bouncing yo-yo ball.
Why I like it: I like the Carousel, but also the fact that you can bring your own lunch, since designed area is provided.
