Bring the Carnival to Your Living Room with Nintendo Switch!

Popcorn, ring toss, cotton candy ... three things that immediately take me back to the fun carnivals we visited as children. Now you can bring all the fun of the carnival straight to your living room!

Carnival Games, by 2K Games, is perfect for a wide range of ages and is engaging whether you are a gaming novice or pro. Recently introduced for Nintendo Switch (you may recognize it if you have a Wii), Carnival Games features 20 mini-games that work well alone or with friends!

The games are familiar to carnival goers - shoot baskets in "Swish," knock down clowns in "Clowning Around," or get points in skee-ball. You can also go bowling in "Cosmic Strike" or race flying drones in "Light Speed."

As soon as the game was out of the box, my 8-year-old (who has had some exposure to video games, but not a whole lot) was immediately able to figure out how to play and quickly started earning tickets to unlock more games.  She had so much fun with the game, she walked next door to invite our neighbor to come play too! Her favorite game is "Clowning Around" and she's already proven she's a master at it by continuing to beat her previous high score. I like games that encourage team spirit and confidence and this game does both because not only can others play against you, but you also can team up and cheer each other on!

We recently had several friends over to try it out and they had a blast! The games only last about a minute, so it's perfect for quick tournaments. The kids stay engaged because the game is constantly changing.

Now that the game is available on the Nintendo Switch, you can play it on a tv screen, in your hands or on the go!

Carnival Games is available for $39.99. It's rated E10+ for Cartoon Violence, but I found it appropriate for my 8 year old. Learn more about Carnival Games and other games for Nintendo Switch at www.2k.com.
